With our father’s Manolis, values as our legacy, under his discreet, protective but observant look, having at least twenty years of consistent service on our backs, we are continuing to promote Greek and Aegean culinary tradition, combining feelings, values, new esteemed partners and the best raw ingredients.  “Our people” . People always make the difference. Our staff is our power. Young and talented, they share our own vision. They are experienced professionals who freely share their knowledge. Our people are our family. 

“Greek land – Rhodian soil”. Excellent quality ingredients are the basic component of flavor. We choose all our ingredients from local producers who have been sharing our passion for quality, throughout the years.  In addition to that, our own little vegetable garden, our “kipouli” in Greek, which you can see for yourself at the back of our restaurant, offers a bouquet of fine vegetables, herbs and spices and creates our gastronomic signature. 

 
Our History

It was back in 1972, when Manolis decided to devote himself to his passion: cooking. With his honesty, his passion, his discipline, industriousness and respect to tradition as his main ingredients, he created flavors that successfully brought him to this day.

Our menu is a virtual walk among the traditional flavors of Greece and especially our island, Rhodes.  A culinary journey for visitors who are discovering Greece’s rich cultural personality.  A culinary journey for Greeks who are pleasantly surprised discovering flavors that have been lost in time and our love for tradition and restless spirit led us to revisit.  Bread, this holy and honored item is home-made by us and its making is a respectful ritual.  Besides our regular daily dishes, we have new flavors every day, calling you to an endless journey of discovery. 



Our Bar

At our cool garden, we created our drink and relaxation area, in aesthetical harmony with the taverna, sharing the same philosophy. Under the moonlight, with discreet lighting, our guests enjoy their Apéritifs, a drink, a cocktail or a dessert wine. A mystical experience, accompanied by soft music, relaxing, resting and entertaining.

Vegetable Garden

Behind the taverna, around the garden, is where we grow all our vegetables and more. This is another passion on its own. In the mornings, when the sun’s kiss is still soft on the earth, we are there to take care, weed and prune all our vegetables, herbs and spices. All kinds of colors and smells come from the pure soil, complement our recipes and refine our dishes.
